Pippin Hill’s 2015 Chardonnay Reserve recently won a gold medal at the 2017 Monticello Wine Cup Awards and we’ve assembled some of our favorite recipe pairs for our 2015 Chardonnay Reserve.

Our Chardonnay Reserve is made with inspiration from Burgundy winemaking techniques.  Aged 10 months in new French oak, the result is a wine with complex aromas of lemon balm, honeysuckle and oak.  While there are fruit flavors of apricot and pineapple, there’s also a  touch of vanilla and a comforting finish of caramel and brown butter.

Given the Chardonnay Reserve’s hints of lemon and butter, it pairs very well with dishes like chicken or seafood. It also has the ability to cut through a heavier dish like pasta.
