We are excited to welcome back our annual Cut Flower Workshop!


Join us for our annual Cut Flower Workshop on Wednesday, June 23rd from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., where Certified Horticulturalist Diane and Garden Assistant Celina will show you how they plant and grow our flowers in a guided tour of the Kitchen Garden and grounds. Diane and Celina have a lot of exciting garden updates, including expanding our meadow flower garden and planting new varieties of flowers specifically for this event.

Following the garden tour, we’ll gather on our new Cellar patio for a hands-on workshop led by Jenny Hopkins from Big Arms Farm. She will teach participants tips on properly harvesting flowers, post-harvesting handling, and the basics of creating casual, farm-style arrangements using our local, sustainable flowers. You may recognize Jenny and her work – she is a regular on our Featured Farmer Fridays, where she offers “make your own bouquets” in addition to dried flower creations.

Executive Chef Ian Rynecki has prepared a specially curated picnic featuring cheese and charcuterie for you to enjoy on the lawn following the workshop. We recommend bringing a chair or blanket for lawn seating.


Each guest will take home their cut floral arrangement. Coffee, tea, a glass of Blanc de Blanc, and a to-go cheese and charcuterie kit are included in your $125 ticket.

For this event, masks are optional if you are fully vaccinated. If you are booking with friends, please let us know so we can group you together.

Event is weather dependent. If there is inclement weather, the event will be hosted the following day on Thursday, June 24th.
