Ciao! Travel the Italian countryside right here in Pippin Hill’s kitchen.

Explore the art of fresh pasta making with our team at Pippin Hill. The class will focus on classic and contemporary Tuscan inspired dishes that will pair elegantly with a glass of our wine. From homemade pasta dough to secret Scatena family sauces, our pasta class promises to liven up your next dinner party menu.

4 Spicy Italian Sausages, casings removed
1 LB Lamb
1 Carrot, grated
2 Celery Stalks, cubed
1 Yellow Onion, cubed
1 Head of Garlic, minced
1 Sprig of Rosemary
1 Bay Leaf
1?2 Bottle Red Wine
1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
1?4 teaspoon grated Nutmeg
1 Can San Marzano Tomatoes

Heat a Heavy Bottom Pot until hot and add 2 Tablespoons of olive oil. Brown the sausage and lamb until cooked through. Remove from the pot and reserve until later While the pan is still hot, ad the onion, carrot and celery. Brown well Add the tomato paste, garlic and deglaze with the red wine Let the wine reduce by half and add the tomatoes, herbs and reserved meat Let stew for 4 hours or until thick.
