This summer and fall, learn some insider tips from our head chef, enjoy a few glasses of wine, make a tasty meal, and leave with new cooking skills and recipes that you will use time and time again. Whether you stop by with your significant other for a memorable date night in the Blue Ridge mountains, plan the best girls night out ever, or giving a class as a special gift, an evening spent at Pippin Hill Cooking Class will be one to remember. “Summer Harvest Class”

Fruits and veggies are best eaten when in season and canning allows you to capture the wonderful flavors of summer to enjoy year-round.  In this class, we’ll focus on pickling and canning techniques while zero-ing in on Zone 7 harvest like crisp cucumbers and juicy tomatoes growing in our Kitchen Garden. After the lesson, we’ll enjoy a delicious meal inspired by our summer harvest. You’ll also take a Ball Mason Jar of what we pickle that you can open up in chill winter months and savor the summer!

“Grill, Smoke, Cure: Salmon 101”

Looking for new ways to cook salmon? We always are! In this class, we’ll explore new techniques and recipes for perfecting our favorite weeknight dinner protein. This class includes a hands-on cooking demonstration, dinner, and 2 glasses of wine.

Don’t wait until Halloween to take advantage of all the wonderful veggies fall has to offer… and trust us, there are better uses for pumpkin than carving! Join the Pippin Hill Culinary Team in our kitchen to learn new ways to use all your fall favorites. This class includes a hands-on cooking demonstration, dinner, and 2 glasses of wine.

“Seasonal Spreads: Culinary Gifts for the Holidays”

‘Tis the season for giving! Join the Pippin Hill Culinary Team in our kitchen to learn how to make seasonal spreads that are perfect for holiday gifts! These spreads can also be impressive additions to any of your holiday meals. This class includes a hands on cooking demo, dinner, and 2 glasses of wine.
