About this Event
The Sous Vide used to be a technique reserved for chefs and fancy kitchens, but circulator cooking has quickly become popular among home chefs – and is actually quite simple once you get the hang of it. This method is essentially any kind of cooking in a temperature-controlled water bath. Chef Ian recommends the Anova Precision Cooker Nano, and we have the option for you to purchase this with your class to take home. We’ll explore different recipes with proteins and vegetables from our Kitchen Garden and provide you with the tools and skills to master sous vide cooking at home.
This class is part of our Reserve Class Series. Enjoy a smaller, more intimate class. You do have the option to purchase your ticket with or without the Anova Precision Cooker Nano.
We are “pairing” each class with a featured wine. You will have your choice of 3 glasses of red or white wine that evening. Let us recommend the Wild Common or Zero White for this evening.
About the Cooking Class Experience
Each ticket includes a Garden Tour, Cooking Class, Dinner and Three Glasses of Wine.
Weather permitting, each Cooking Class begins with a Kitchen Garden Tour led by Chef Ian. Following the tour, participants will gather in the Tasting Room for the hands-on, socially distanced cooking class. After the lesson, guests will enjoy a plated dinner in the Tasting Room with the option to sit as an individual party or gather with others. Gloves and masks will be provided.
For the safety of our team and guests, all summer cooking classes will be limited to 12 participants. Modifications to the class structure will be made to ensure the safety and social distancing of all guests. If you are booking with friends in your quarantine “pod,” please let us know so we can group you together.
