Don’t for a minute think warmer temperatures make us shy away from reds. At least not our Red Pump 2014—a frisky, fruit-driven blend that’s pure fun. It’s light enough to take a chill, and complex enough to stand up to spicy, peppery dishes. Smooth on the finish with hints of strawberry and rhubarb, it’s like the month of July in a bottle.

Red Pump 2014

Fruity! We’re introducing this wine for our customers who prefer soft, fruit driven wines to our structured, “dry” reds. While our Petit Verdot, Meritage, and Cabernets are commendable in their complexity and ageability, we know that sometimes you just want the fun. This is all about the fun of juicy, ripe fruit, with just enough sweetness to make it as soft and easy as can be. As with our lighter reds, it will happily take a chill on a summer day. For those looking to pair red wine with spicy/pepper-hot dishes, this is your wine.
