We are thrilled to announce that a portion of the proceeds from our upcoming, sold-out Cut Flower Workshop will benefit the McIntire Botanical Garden, a local non-profit organization. Like the Kitchen Garden at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards, the McIntire Botanical Garden focuses on sustainable flora farming. The planning of the public garden is still underway, and we are excited to contribute to the development of this unique green space.

The Charlottesville City Council is partnering with the McIntire Botanical Garden to construct a garden that all city residents can enjoy. The garden will create spaces for gathering, feature native and non-invasive plants, and utilize regionally appropriate architecture and landscape design. Furthermore, it will celebrate the Piedmont region’s rich botanical and horticultural heritage. Most importantly, the McIntire Botanical Garden is committed to conservation and sustainability. Once constructed, the public garden will not only be a beautiful display of local flora but also an education and research site.

Join us in our efforts to support agritourism. You can volunteer or donate to the McIntire Botanical Garden.
