We were thrilled to partner with The Underground Kitchen for their not-so-secret event this past June at their sold-out “Cultural Collaboration” dinner at The James Beard Foundation’s Beard House in New York where we poured our Blanc de Blanc, Sparkling Rosé and Viognier.
Closer to home, this coming Saturday, October 19, our Tasting Room manager Matt Lovelady and vineyard manager Brooks Hoover will be attending “UGK: The New Americana” dinner in Upperville. Join us for an evening of food and wine pairings in a secret location in Upperville with a surprise guest chef! Intrigued? So are we!
The Underground Kitchen is a collaborative culinary movement based in Virginia that hosts pop-ups in surprise locations with guest chefs. UGK is dedicated to promoting a diverse group of chefs, most often seeking out those who are typically underrepresented in the culinary world. Their experiential dining feature four- to seven-course menus created by some of the top emerging chefs in the country. Typically, the locations of the events remain “underground” until forty-eight hours prior to the event to heighten excitement and intrigue.
