Join us for our fall/winter series of cooking classes at the Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards Cooking School led by Executive Chef Bill Scatena with Sous Chef David. Classes are $75 per person, $65 for wine club members.

End of Summer Harvest
Wednesday, September 14  from 6-9 pm

What better way to savor the end of summer harvest than on a juicy grass-fed burger?!

Sliders have been the #1 most popular dish on our menu since we opened our doors. Now, it’s your turn to learn Chef’s secrets behind the grill. At our end of the summer harvest class, we’ll use produce from our garden to top the sliders including caramelized shallots and tomatoes for smokey ketchup. We will also make a or signature chickpea cake vegetarian slider that is a hit as an option for our special events and wedding clients. Stone fruits are the star of farmer’s markets this time of year and peaches are at their peak now. We’ll make peach crisp with crumble topping for dessert. This is not your typical end of summer cookout! The class includes a cooking demo in the Pippin Hill kitchen, dinner, and 2 glasses of wine.

Chesapeake Bay Goes Gourmet *SOLD OUT*

October is the best month to celebrate the seafood of the Chesapeake Bay. Come join chef Bill Scatena to utilize the freshest seafood from the bay and to learn the secret to his crab cakes. The class will include a cooking demo in the Pippin Hill kitchen, dinner, and 2 glasses of wine.
