Here at Pippin Hill we embrace the ingredients each season offers us. Not only is cooking by season the responsible way to cook, it keeps us inspired.  Our culinary team doesn’t let the cold freeze their creativity.

During dark winter days, our bodies crave the heartier things – root vegetables, savory meats, dried herbs and spices. Staying true to the season takes us on a journey; we explore the different ways to create tastes we yearn for.

Come in to Pippin’s Tasting Room and discover a menu dedicated to winter ingredients. We feature deconstructed curries in our wood fired pizza, there are dried Calabrian chilies with our Virginia rockfish; both warm the body as they heat up the palate.  Our caramelized cauliflower is a creative, winter take on a salad starter. We embrace traditional canning recipes when making the lemon preserves we use in our Meyer Lemon Cake.
