Spring has officially sprung at Pippin Hill – our limited release Rosé 2018 is back in season and will be available in the Tasting Room starting Saturday, April 13th. A favorite spring and summer wine enjoyed by Pippin Hill visitors, our Rosé is both fruity and floral in the aromatics, like a basket of strawberries garnished with rose petal and a few sprigs of lavender thrown in for fun. The palate offers hints of watermelon which give way to tart raspberry, with a touch of Meyer lemon. Our Rosé is not sweet but slightly dry and that makes it perfect for the spring and summer months.
If you can’t make it to Pippin Hill, order a bottle (or few!) online to enjoy at home. Executive Chef Ian Rynecki and Vineyard Manager Brooks Hoover share the best cheese pairings to complement, and not overshadow, the taste of the rosé.
